Genetic Testing in Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease
Overview
The purpose of this study is to investigate the underuse of tolvaptan and genetic testing in patients with ADPKD, focusing on racial disparities, patient perceptions, and mental health aspects of the disease to improve treatment adherence and encourage early diagnosis within families.
Eligibility Criteria
- Ages 18 and older
- Diagnosis of ADPKD
Additional inclusion/exclusion criteria will apply.
Participation
Participants with ADPKD and family members of patients with ADPKD will receive a survey to assess attitudes about diagnosis, treatment, and genetic testing in ADPKD.
